I am very honored to share my experience as a volunteer advisor in digital communication in Morocco, in partnership with Bayti Association and the Association d'Appui à l'Unité de Protection de l'Enfance (AAUPE) in Casablanca.
Originally from Casablanca and sensitive to local socio-economic challenges, I have always been committed to getting involved in various associations in my home country, both at the local and national level. My enthusiasm and ambitions gradually led me toward international development, allowing me to contribute to both Morocco and Canada.
My involvement in this project was based on two objectives: enhancing the digital presence of the partner associations and strengthening the capacity of their teams to make children’s rights a reality.
This process also included the creation of multimedia supports, a social review and a children’s journal – an initiative I launched to encourage and promote children’s active participation, as well as highlighting their achievements on the partner associations’ websites.

During this assignment, I had the opportunity to work closely with the local teams of the partner associations to develop impactful digital strategies, intended to raise awareness among a broader audience and to mobilize more support around the key causes they defend. Together, we have modernized their online presence and promoted their impact stories through more accessible and engaging communication.
We have also integrated highly secure features for online donations, which helped increase international contributions through the new website.
At the same time, with the support of our partners, I was able to train and guide the teams in optimizing their practices, helping them to reinforce their project management skills and use digital tools effectively. These training sessions were a rich and inspiring opportunity for exchange, as they allowed us to co-create appropriate solutions to the needs and resources of each association, making children’s rights and protection a reality.
While this experience allowed me to contribute to a significant project, it also reinforced my belief that it is crucial to provide long-term support for organizations committed to the protection of children’s rights.
Finally, I hope that the actions undertaken will continue to be successful and help these associations to achieve their goals in the coming years.
